Teens who survive a suicide attempt without substantial physical impairment stay 2-3 days in hospital and are either discharged home or (in cases involving suspected psychosis) sent to a psychiatry hospital in Helena. There are no other alternatives. Once home, they often wait 4-8 weeks before they can see a psychiatrist or therapist.

About Us
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit comprised of a group of community volunteers working under the umbrella of HRDC to coordinate the efforts and contributions of hundreds of others. We provide the project management and conduct the fundraising necessary to bring this important mental health component to life in our community.
In addition to HRDC, we are working collaboratively with Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch (YBGR) who will operate the ranch and bring a continuum of care that will meet kids where they are. YBGR brings 70 years of experience in youth mental and behavioral health services in Montana.
